i know they are goldies loads smaller than fuzz so maybe fuzz is a male and godie a hen only time will tell on that.i know the names are abit different, but they had to have names that could be for male or female.and goldie has gold streaks in her down at the moment she'll probably grow into a white or black hen or thingyerel.but anyway fuzz is called fuzz cos he's all fuzzy

i thought something was up with fuzz(biggest chick),cos he/she kept falling asleep every few seconds like on the pic above and he would walk round in the brooder with his eyes shut most of the time.anyway he was still very lively but died on the 7th of this month.so goldie now on his own.at first i thought goldie may be a hen cos she was loads smaller than fuzz.but when goldie plays he/she leaps of the ground like thingyerels do when fighting.so im thinking thingyerel.not that this matters as im keeping him/her.goldie chucks her yellow little toy around and squeaks it as i gave him/her this to play with cos fuzz had gone,we were going to get goldie another friend the same age cost he was stressed looking for fuzz.abit better since toys and budgie mirror in with him/her.we may still get goldie a mate but has to be similar age as goldie may get squased.goldies just starting to feather up.he follows me when he comes out in the room for a few minutes at a time with all the vivariums its nice and warm for him/her to play for a short time.

goldies gaining weight which is good, and just got wing feathers through and open. now growing tail feathers.eating well, and playing chasing things when you roll something she chases it.then he climbs up and sits on my shoulder or arm,and often like to run up my sleeves.i said you won't be able to do that when your bigger you will get stuck.

Hey there that is sad to hear about Fuzz but maybe because they were twins something was wrong with him and something didn't develop fully. At least goldie is healthy and growing. They were both super cute. It chicks are great and can be very funny to watch do some of there funny chicken things. My grandma had chickens when I was growing up and sometimes she would buy 30 chicks and I loved being in there with them. They peeped and acted silly, followed you around and they were so soft. Sometimes its to bad that baby animals have to grow up! LOL Good luck with Goldie and keep us updated on his/her progress. I'm sure she/he missed fuzz a lot. Good thing you gave her/him something to take up some of the time. I'm sure that helped a lot

these pics are off misty a 3week old ko shamo and goldie whos 13days old and possibly light sussex type, misty was bought when goldie refused to eat after all his brothers/sisters died.she has deformed toes but runs round like mad and has been checked by the vet who said he won't splint them just yet as she seems to be fine and eating/drinking and climbing, running, walking without any problems i just clp her claws once a week so she dosent injure herself by treading on her own feet 90% shes a hen thats misty,we think goldies a thingyerel keeping both anyway.they are both very tame and love chucking their toys around.sorry pics are not that good but they couldnt be out from under the lamps for long so i just took some quickly.but i think they are both cute.the vet also checked goldie cos where the others died and i don't know why i wanted to have him checked.he was fine infact the vet said oh my god their both really lively.and both were flapping their wings to get away from him but thats good they are lively and happy
