Just when you get bored of checking the eggs on a daily basis, the baby ball pythons do what every other baby does throughtout history. Start their birth in the wee hours of the morning. The start: and that's just the beginning bob

This is an update to the ball pythons hatching. So far two are completely out and three more eggs have heads poking out of them. This is very exciting and what a wonderful experience to witness. Here's one of the new babies. bob and michelle

so far two are totally out of the shell with three more heads popping out of their shells. That makes 5 so far with maybe 4 more to come.
Close up photography makes him look big. He or she is such a tiny little thing. Tonight we will weigh the ones that are out and measurement them.

As of now the females are slated for the future breeding program. We will have to wait after their first sheds and for them to grow up a little to see what we really have in different traits.
We won't be keeping all of them and some will be sold.
