Sounds great. You have along time before he becomes fully grown. That cage should last you for at least two to three years if not longer. Sharing rooms isnt a good idea unless its been Iguana proofed. There are lots of things you need to consider before ever letting your iguana become a free roamer. I wont get into that now because you arent ready for that yet. My Nana gets to free roam when Im around. Thats only because I watch her closely so she doesnt try to get into anything that could cause her harm. The other two iguanas I own arent allowed to free roam simply because I dont own them. I foster two other iguanas that were my friend Jay's who joined the military recently.

I just wanted to update on my iguana he has been eating the last three days. And he also escaped yesterday for about ten minutes but I trapped him under a small tv stand and then he darted out and I got him. Iguana's are extremely fast!

Yes they are very fast. My nana isnt that fast anymore but Im sure if she wanted to move fast she could. Nana hardly ever tries to run from me.

when i first got gizmo she wouldn't eat unless the viv lights and room lights were all off.she'd sit in the corner of her viv and shake violently.once i had got her used to me touching her head i was worried as she was quite thin,i syringe fed her baby food, the fruit/veg ones.then after a few days of this and lots of handling i tried her with abit of fruit and veg,she wasnt interested,so i bought some iguana pellets she wouldnt touch them so i soaked the next lot in unsweetened apple juice, she ate them alright.then i sllowly added greens.and fruit and other veg over a few days.she was abit more interested.now she eats really well.

I had a question about that, is there ever to much that you can feed a baby Green iggy. Like should I be worried that he might eatto much or will he eventually just stop when full.

Feed as much as he can! Igs cannot over-eat. They consume what they need for growth and stop when they've had enough...;-) However...with a baby, make sure the pieces are small enough to eat comfortably. Pieces the size of it's head are how you want to gauge the size.
