I was holding my iggy after I had eaten an orange and he started to lick my hand, he really seemed to like the taste of orange. Is it safe to feed iggies pieces of orange or other grape food. Should I avoid these fruits or maybe give it as a treat?

I think oranges should be avoided because they are high in acid. But Grapes can be fed as a treat, most peel them. Seedless are better than seeded. Just make sure to cut in half if your guy is small so he doesn't choke on them. Banana can also be use as a treat maybe a 1" piece 2x a month. My guy and girls love grapes and banana's. They also enjoy small pieces of apples, pears, mango or kiwi.

Yup...I agree. Oranges have a high acid content. With the bananas you can even feed the peel...:-)
