Hi all I have a problem yesterday I bought a new Exo Terra Tank Large and a Rain forest Heat Mat Large to go with it. I really like Exo Terra they are much cheaper than Zoo Med. Any Way its been on for about 14 hours + and there is very little heat coming off it. The Air Temperature is about 17 Celsiuses (about 60F) and the tank temp is only 0.5 higher than the air. I'm very like this so any help would be much appreciated. If I need to take it off what is the easiest way to do it? Thanks James Wright

It's got to be taped to the bottom of the tank tightly. That way the heat transfers into the glass. I use heat tape but it's the same principle.

I use heat rope on the bottom of my dragon tank and it seems to work real good keeping the glass on the bottom roughly around 85 degrees.
