I posted this in green iguanas also, sorry for the repeat.
I built a large enclosure for my iguana George. It's wood and plexiglass. Well George sees his reflection in the plexiglass and he rams at it all the time. He thinks his reflection is another iguana and he tries to attack it. It got so bad that he developed an infection on his nose from hitting it so hard, which the vet took care of. I need to do something to block his reflection, currently I have taped up paper inside his cage to block the reflection, but it's only a temporary solution. I thought about sanding the plexi on the inside but I still want to be able to see him. And I’m worried if I sand it you wont be able to see anything but a green blob in the cage. Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe you could change the direction of his lighting is pointing. Meaning point it away from the plexiglass and see if it helps. Or maybe put some type of cover over light to lessen the brightness thus lessening the reflection. Not sure if it will help, but it is worth a try. Let me know if it works!
