hey!! sorry it took me so long to reply, barneys enclosure was an old entertaiment center. we took the back and the bottom drawer off, the top drawer we fixed so that it opens from the top so we have easy excess to change the lamps. his shelves were from parts of the shelfs that were already in there. we covered the entire thing in tile so that its easy to clean, the wire took the longest to put on because we wanted to be sure to get it even and straight.we left the glass door on so that it is easier to change his food, water and take him out. it took us about 8 hours and around $50 dollars to build. since its the first one that we have ever done we think that we can only get better with it. we plan to build a bigger cage for outside when brad gets all his strength back. any sugestions? Patrick built mine for me. He may be able to help.

If you look at my Chameleon enclosure you can build one out of 2x4's and some plastic screening. I built my outside iguana enclosure like the inside one but with a different size plastic screen. It was recycled wood that someone didn't want so I figured why burn it? So I put it to use. Also since I don't have any cement pads like Patrick does I made my enclosure on legs so RZ wouldn't be sitting on the ground , I wouldn't like it down there so I figured she wouldn't either. KooKie climbs all over the enclosure when its his time out there. I need to build some shelfs in there and put in some tree limbs as he wants to climb a lot. But I have to either bake them or soak them in bleach water. to make sure there arn't any pests that my iggs can catch on them. Well good luck Steph
