We're in the process of making an new home for our iguana. He's only 1yr old now, but we're thinking about the future and making plans to convert an understairs cupboard for him. It's about 3ft high and the highest point, and about 7ft long. My question is this - will it be big enough for him when he gets to his full size? We don't want to go through this again! Our other thought was a 'wardrobe' style one, probably on wheeles - but it would be nice to use up the 'dead' space we have now. Of course - there are related issues - how many bulbs (heat and UV), logs, plants, floorings?? Any advice appreciated!

www.greenigsociety.org/This website has loads of great information - including information on habitats, heating and lighting. Flooring - I use linoleum. Substrate - I use paper towel. Of course there are other options that you can use - as long as it's not a particle substrate or carpet with lose threads.

Well depending on how wide it is and if you’re going to leave it free roam a little here and there, the height is not every high the length is fine now depending on the width you may be all right but remember to let the guy out to free roam like every other day.
I am working on an enclosure now for and Iggy that I hope to adopt out soon I had a little space in my sunroom and is about 46 inches deep 4ft long by 8ft tall I will post some pictures of it when I get done. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
For the floor I am going to lay down some linoleum and use some Wire Shelving that I have and for heat I have a heat panel from his old enclosure and a old small dog cage that I am going to put his food and water on.
I will Post some pictures in a couple of days

I think the understairs space has been ruled out now - I can't let Mintie out to roam without locking the dogs in another room (that's another story), so we'll probably do something a bit like the ones you build for indoors - we have the perfect space for it too. And wheels!
