::)Well due to living in a small flat i am unable to build an amazing enclosures like you guys have! But hopefully as soon as i get some long term accomodation i can!
For now Iggy has a tank which cost me £180! and will only last him another year if that ?! before i have to accomodate him in something bigger!!
It isnt too bad though as he does roam the flat most of the afternoon! What you guys think?! Also reading the topic regading plants i am planning to place some edable plants in to bring some colour into his Pad!! ;D

Is that wood chips in there? If so could you please remove them as they taste with their tongue and can ingest some of them and it may cause impaction for them. Which isn't a good thing. Your right he does need a bigger place soon. Not too bad of a starter home though. They like heights, and climbing. His lights should be above him. At least you let him free roam some which is good. I don't think you have room for any plants in there, but in the chat box there is a link for edible plants. Good Luck! Sorry this is only my opinion!

Hi Natascha
It is great that you let him out for the afternoon of roaming, the enclosure is somewhat small for him to be in all day, and I hope you do not take this the wrong way but the substrate that you have for him is not good for him at all, they do tasted everything and the bark you have in there could get impacted in him if he eat any of it and that will be a big vet bill on your part. I love the log you have as well, that is one good looking log and your iggy looks happy laying on it.
You will need a bigger enclosure soon or if you like and you have a spare room you can set him up and let him use the whole room. But for right now I would get rid of the bark impaction is not good and could cause death if not caught quick enough.

:oOMG i never knew about the bark!! I will definitely replace this if it is a threat to my iggy! I was told by the reptile guy to use it!!
What can i use instead then?!
The Logs were bought at a specialized reptile shop, he lovers the large hollow one! I though the UVB was meant to be above but as you can see once again (due to incorrect info) the reptile shop i got this from makes them and he told me the light was perfect for there!
Hate it when people who don't know give advice
Patrick as i live in a 1 bed it is hard at the moment but in May i look to relocate to a larger flat then i hope to get a office sized room for him to have himself!!
Denise thanks for your opinions! I would never take offense i am very new to this so all the help i can get is greatly appreciated!!!

:-*Denise you are a star! Thanks so much i will read up and look to replace that stuff asap!
It makes it so much easier and cheaper for me as that bark stuff they charge a high price for! Considering its for Iggy to mess on lol
Another thing Patrick mentioned Iguana's love to climb can they use cat climbers etc ?
Thanks again guys! Just think if i had never joined this site

I have that carpet stuff in Mintie's house. It's ugly, but it won't hurt him and I just wash it off with the shower head when it gets messy....

Cat Climbers Are Great to use just make sure there is no lose carpet fibers, if you see lose one cut them off. Debbie here on the site has one in one of her enclosures and it does work well.
