Exo Terra Tank Review
Introduction There are many types of tank that are available to the Hobbyist. Ranging from Fish tanks to special made Chameleon tanks. But the one of the most interesting and new is the Exo-Terra Glass range. Brought out last year and was a big hit.
Uses There are many use for Exo-Terra tanks. It can be used to create many different types of environments ranging from Desert Semi-Aquatic Rainforest you can create most environments in an Exo Terra Tank.
Facts They are waterproof below the door as above that they do is not waterproof. It has a background, which can be cut to let wires go down the back. So you can get power to waterfalls heat mats etc.
What you can keep in them I have heard of people keeping Leaf Chameleons in the Extra Large, Tarantulas are at home in an Exo-Terra tank as well. I've heard of people keeping and breeding Crested Gecko very happly in a Large Exo Terra.
Maintenance & Set upSetting it up is easy just cut the hole for your wires or if you don’t need them then don’t cut them. And it is done just insert the back. The care and general maintenance of the Exo-Terra tank is very easy just clean the glass and wash the screen top.
Conclusion With its great adaptability and easiness to clean and set up. Even with the reasonable large price tag. This type of tank we will see more appearing and in the near future there are rumours of Exo-Terra working on a new model.
