So i want to add another level to my tank so my iguana can get closer to the uvb bulb. im wanting to put the other level over on the far right hand side.i was planning on getting some wood and cutting it to where it would fit the cage right and i was just wondering if anyone has done this before and what would be the best to use to getting the wood to stick to glass. here is a picture of the tank right now

I don't want you thinking we haven't seen the post - but this will have to wait until I can see your pic from home...stupid work filters. Lets see what we can figure out then...:-) I'm sure someone else will also be along soon.

Well - yes...getting your ig closer to the lights can be done with a little ingenuity. First you need to get the lights shining in the same area. Igs are attracted to the heat so this is where your UVB needs to be focussed, too. You can use wildwood if you like. Just place it in the tub if it's large and let it soak in water with bleach added - rinse well and allow to air dry. I've also baked branches at 250 for 20 mins. The iguana hammocks work quite well for little ones like that. They use suction cups and igs love them. If you're wanting a more natural look - the best thing to do would be to offer you some visual ideas. Type in *iguana cages* or iguana cage plans* in google. You'll be amazed at the ideas that come up. www.herpcenter.com/reptileforums.html <---scroll down to "Herp Habitats" LOTS of info tesa.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=housing&action=display&thread=1168125761
