It is with a very sad and heavy heart and we wanted to let you all know that our beloved boy Iggy passed away last night at 10:50 p.m. Jon and I held him and comforted him in his last hours. We hugged and kissed him and let him know that it was OK to let go and suffer no more. We told him repeatedly that we loved him and then we said our final goodbyes. I can't express how much it hurts to loose a little green baby. We found out this morning from our vet that he died of intestinal cancer. Rest in peace our beautiful boy. Debbie,
I can not tell you how sorry I am for your loss. It is a sad day. I know he didn't want to leave you but at least he is at peace now. He will be greatly missed here.

My Iggy
I never knew him but I meet him once, He was a feisty little guy full of life.
He bobbed a lot and let you know that He was the king of the world that he knew.
But something took him and we do not know why, And he will be missed so we say goodbye.
It is sad that I have to write this goodbye to Iggy The one that, will never know the People that loved him as much as I
It is sad to here another iguana has gone I wish in my heart I could save them all
But this time I could not though I wish I could It’s hard to let go something that was gods will!
Iggy I wish you happiness up there because you were the best Guy that I ever knew.
So Goodbye to you my friend and just remember this isn’t the end. You will show up again in to an iguana that we know Debbie and Jon you will see it and you guys will know!
So this is to you Iggy may you rest in peace. Have a good after life looking down on us.
With your head bobbing and Full of vinegar is what we will miss!
It is hard to let go of the ones you lost But better to let go then for them to suffer the cost.
Good luck to you Debbie and Jon It’s the two others that you have that have To live to be healthy wealthy and wise and To know what Iggy has gave up for their lives!
Debbie and Jon Sorry for your loss I know how much you love the guy and Him Will be Missed.
Patrick

Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss of Iggy. It is good that you both were able to be with him, to hold and comfort him in his final time with you. I have not yet experienced the loss of one of mine, so I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. I hope you are able to find closure and peace in knowing what took him from you. I am so sorry.

Debbie, I'm sorry about your poor Iggy... The best ones are always first to go... We do know your pain of the long hours spend holding them close, telling them the last words that they bring with them across the bridge... He was loved, and we will be thinkin of you's on this really hard time... jodi

Thak you all so much it is really good to have close friends in this terrible time. I still can't believe that he is gone and I am still having a very hard time with the loss.
I just wanted you all to know how much you all's love and caring hearts help.
