I am sorry to here this news it is a sad day when we lose some one we have loved so very much, it could have been anything that he past away from the meds being to strong for his little body to the tape worms that took over his body.
I am really sorry for your loss; the last thing I read was he was getting a little better.

Hey there, Sorry about your loss of Thor, but just remember what I talked to you about last night. Sometimes its just not in our power to make them better and God wants to take them from us. Hopefully this experience didn't turn you off from reptiles completly. Sometimes it takes time and research on where and who you get them from. I'm sure if you start off with a healthy baby he and you will build a great life together Keep your chin up Stephanie

Events like this in life is a learning curve! I dont think you should give up reptiles! How did you come across the Little guy?! Maybe if you get a young one from a breeder or from some one that can gaurantee its health it will go better for you!
Dont give up on them!

I'm Sorry for your loss of Thor. Some iguanas are genetically unable to fight things more than others. But don't give up ,of course it won't be the same because they are all different. Maybe you could try adopting a healthy iguana, there are tons out there wanting forever homes. Good Luck whatever you decide to do.

I got him from a petstore in my city that i recently found out was not recomended... They keep their animals in less than ideal conditions...
