HEDGEHOGS! CATerpiller Casey A lot of these poor guys also have to be rescued every year because they are pets that are highly bonded with there people. A lot of people think they are low maintenance and are soo cute and cuddly. Well when you know them they are, but they arn't like a cat or a dog. Lots of these guys are in rescues too!

They are great pets, the one I took care of till I found a new home for, I would take him outside and let him play in the grass and explore and he love him wheel to run on.

Hedgies are precious! We had one surrendered to us last year. I have read where hedgies have only a 10% population of biters...less than 1% aggressive biters. They are mainly fear biters...well...THIS one was seriously aggressive. He would latch on and stay that way. I did end up finding him a good home in Northern Ark. with a woman who had several already.
I sure wish I could have held him the way you are in the first pic. Their bellies are so soft.
