Chloe with my husband: We have suffered a loss last night. Our husky passed away. We are not sure if it was from siezures or a stroke. She was acting like she was having siezures, but had affects of a stroke. We took her to the vet on call and she gave Chloe Some medication that would calm her down and make her sleep. The side affect of it is that it can stop a heart. We got her home and she was going fine, but then she started to act has if she was coming out of it to start more seizures and then she just quit breathing. We are glad that she did not suffer. That she died in her sleep. We adopted her from a rescue back in July of 2003 so she wasn't in our lives long, but it felt like she had been with us for years. She was the best dog we could ever wish for. She will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Chloe Bell King

Aww.... I'm sorry.... Very! She was a gorgeous dog. I think Huskies are my favorites.. (Next to Pitbulls and Bull Terriers) My neigbor had a Husky just like her. Man that is a pretty dog. I am very, very, very sorry. Are you going to be reaplcing her? I guess it's a little soon to be asking you that. Sorry. I hope you and your husband will be okay... -collin

No. We will not be replacing her. In fact, according to my husband, we will not get anymore dogs or cats. It is just to painful. With reptiles, atleast they usually pass away quickly and you don't have to listen to them cry. Who knows, maybe we will get another dog oneday. Even though their passing is painful, they are a joy to have around.

I am sorry to hear about your loss... It is always hard to lose a pet they are such a big part of the family always... I am in agreement with you that atleast she passed in her sleep, doesn't really make it any easier except to hope there was not too much suffering... My heart goes out to you and your husband....
