Hi Everyone,
I'd joined the Cyclura forum before Patrick merged them. My nickname is Really so I usually sign Really or ReallySusan. My family is owned by a male green iguana named Mayan, a female cyclura hybrid named Kismet, a ball python, two retired greyhounds, a ferret, a cat, three parrots, and twenty something tarantulas. Oh and one Arizona scorpion. The tarantulas belong to my daughter.
We used to live in New Orleans, but lost our house in Hurricane Katrina so now we're in Texas.
I'm looking forward to spending time on the forum! It's always especially hard to meet and talk with other people who have cyclura.

Welcome Really
Well we do have a few people who have cyclura. Currently 2 Rhino owners and a Spiny Tail owner. Patrick, my friend/neighbor/landlord all rolled into one LOL, has one and I get to see and interact some with Bronx. We hoping this section starts growing considering that cycluras seem to be popping up more and more. We have snakes, and tarantula owners too. And even a section for furry and feather animals. And of course Green Iguanas. We love them all. So I hope you do enjoy spending time here.
I am sorry to hear about your lost home. I was just recently down to Bay St Louis, MS and seen the devastation there. I posted pictures in the members photos. It was a mess there too, still.
As you know we have a chat room and we have a scheduled Chat Night every Wednesday at 9pm EST. Would love to have you if you can make it. If another time/date is better we can have others too--just let us know.
Looking forward to getting to know you and your animals.
Marie

Hey there and Welcome Hope you enjoy it here and I hope to see pictures of your family! I love pictures, I can't seem to get enough of them. Patrick's Rhino is very cute and growing like a weed. That is very sad about your house, but hopefully you will be happy in your relocation in time to come. I was in Florida and saw a lot of devastation down there, I just couldn't imagine where you were. I'm sure it was horrible. We hope you like it here and don't forget the photos!

Thanks! I've seen pix of Bronx. Adorable! If the links work some pics of my iggies and one of my human child can be seen at: www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jspI need to take new ones though as they are also growing like little weeds. Mayan's spikes are starting to sprout since those pics were taken. Also if it works here is a link to pics of what used to be my house. www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jsp These are after 75 inches of salthingyer sat inside for two full weeks and then grew mold for another four. Hi Denise, Bronx seems wonderful. I've been reading everything I can on cyclura but there isn't really that much out there! I'm glad to have found you and Patrick! Pix of our animals are posted at share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8IbNWLFyxcvFAWe are doing okay post-Katrina, though it has been hard. Friday we took the iggies to their new reptile vet and were happy to learn that they are both healthy! I was relieved, especially given the stress everyone has lived under! ReallySusan
