she is Awesome. she is an adoption from NEARR, a Maine amphibious and reptile rescue. she weighs 34.8 Lbs and is approximately 20-24" long. Not a straight line measurement. She poops bigger than an elephant and I'm not kidding. In fact it almost resembles elephant poop. Her name is Miss Speedy, but it should be bull dozer. She grazes on timothy grass which is available all the time. His breakfast is collard greens, endive, mustard greens, arugula and as a treat today a small carrot with greens. If you hold her close to your chest and give smooching sounds she will stick her head all the way out so you can give her a kiss. She doesn't bite and is really mellow. I would appreciate any advise concerning african sulcata's. I know he's gonna be huge and will outlive me. I dont know anything about the Sulcatas, but he is one CUTE fellow! I would just google come caresheets on this species and see what you come up with. You sound like you are doing everything right so far, great job! Great pictures!
