I'm so sorry you lost her,but she has to be around there somewhere. Retrace your steps, think of places you haven't looked and then try and think like a reptile. Think OK, if I was her where would I go? I thought I lost one of my CWD's once, but I just stoped and starting thinking that question and I found him. He was on the backside of my curtains catching some rays. LOL. Man, I really hope she shows up.

Good luck finding her! But remember, if you get another one and you end up finding your girl, you will have 2...
I'm praying! Steven

I lost her i can't find her soo whan my friend bayou beastsbreeds his niles i'm gonna get a baby nile. i'm still gonna look for the one i lost. Neil wish me luck WARNING: This is a rant and in no way is meant as a flame or to offend or insult anyone but is something that needs to be said. Neil somthing in your setup or setups needs to be examined. First the basilisk and now the nile, this is the 2nd reptile to have escaped in your home in the last 2 months. They are your pets and I think you have tons more time in keeping herps then I do but I think the real problem needs to be addressed before you go and get another nile. Wether that problem be other animals knocking lids off, bad latches, bad weights on lids or siblings opening cages, whatever it is it needs to be addressed. I see little sense in getting another animal if it can escape again. Remeber you are responsible for there care and all aspects of it, that includes saving them from there own natural instinct to be out of that cage. End of Rant. I am sorry for the apparent lose Neil, from the conversations I had with you she appeared to be an unusually sweet Nile. I truly hope she is ok and that you (or some one else, if she got outside, finds her)

I have to say I do agree... What sense is there to replace her if there is the potential for escape... I have 5 iguanas and while yes they have gotten away from me they have never truly gotten lost. If it is a matter of handling them and they get away from you, since you know there is potential for this I would suggest handling them in a room with less furniture closed and possibly locked doors... I really would rethink the replacement nile at this time till you are sure you have the kinks worked out of your set up there to prevent future escapes...
It is sad to lose them I agree and if they escape outside I can understand not being able to find them but since you stated you tore a room apart looking for her I am guessing it was in doors and I would hope you would put a huge focus into finding her before replacing her. Not to put you down or pick on you in anyway Neil I know your heart is in the right place but you really need to increase your awareness of the happenings with all your reptiles...
