This guy is so coool! I can't wait for the next reptile show in April and I'm planning to get another one or two or three, If my wife will let me....hee, hee, hee.
The first night I got him I set up a new environment for him and he just sat there at the bottom with his eyes closed.
I thought he was dead.
My son reached in and touched him, no movement. So he gave a little nudge at his back end and he jumped about 6 inches onto a leaf.
We got a real treat, because we then saw his side coloration of blue. If I remember right, if the coloring is blue he's from the northern part of his host country.

That is really neat! They're supposed to get a long really well in groups, too. I think a whole little "herd" of red-eyes would be SO fun! We don't have reptile shows in TN anymore...so any frogs would have to be bought online - or the lucky pet store find which I despise supporting anyway.

Did they outlaw reptile shows in Tn or just plain quit hving them.
Sounds like a prime area to host a show.

Outlawed 'em. Chance of Salmonella contamination...the idiots. Also why they've outlawed keeping chelonia of any kind and are cracking down on the sales and keeping of colubrids...of any kind.

LOL...everything except chelonia...and you must have a sales receipt for colubrids. We can still have the other snake species, lizards, amphibs, etc. We're not totally shut down.
