When there is a background that is animated I can hardly do a thing on the site, it just kinda sits there thinking. I not sure if I am the only one that has this problem, thanks

Hm..I dont have that problem. I know its different with everyones computer, do you have an older computer? So its just slower?

Do you have dial up? Sometimes you get a connection that is slow depending on the server your IP is on and the time of day. Sometimes if you disconnect and use a different number you may get a faster connection.

If there is ever a problem for you with one background or something you can select to use the default background for the week in your "modify profile" page, and just switch back later on when the background changes again.
Pages on the forum can also load slow depending on the time of day you log on as well as how many others are connected at the same time to the server our forum runs on since one server runs quite a few boards.

i have a fast connection and the computer is kinda olg but still fairly fast. I work with large files all day. So i might just make a default background. thanks

Hey all I have dial up and a 2 or 3 yearold computer and everything loads fine for me. I am lucky if I connect at 45Kbps. And compared to anything else it is super slow! But the defult background is nice too. I just like the changes so I keep it the same as the normal ones  Thanks all for replying Steph |
