one thing everyone looks for immediately is: posts since your last visit button. If it's at all possible it really helps people to clearly see new posts.

Nicole,
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I am sure Elizabeth the Technical Administrator will be looking into it.
I know how you feel. I wanted to be able to know which posts were new without going through every board--the dots were all blue since I hadn't read all of the messages. What I did was mark everything as read. There is a "mark as read" on the right bottom corner of the forum menu and clicking it will turn all the blue dots off. And in each board there are two "mark as read"s (one at the top right corner, one at the bottom right corner) and clicking these will remove all the little lizards. So then everytime I logged in after that the blue dots on the file folder to the left of each board would tell me where there were new messages. And once I got in each board each new message or message w/a new reply would have the little lizard next to it.
Hope that helps until what you suggested can be looked into and implemented if possible.
Marie

I would love to have something like that but other than being able to look up the last 10 posts to hit the board there really is not a set up like that on the board... I work on two of these forums and search as I might I have yet to find the way to set that up All I could offer is a button at the top in the button section that takes you to that last 10 posts page!

The only other thing I can offer for individual posts is if there is one you are interested in that you mark it:
If you would like to be notified by email of new posts to a thread, click the "notify" button at the top of the page and you will receive an email any time a new post is made to that thread.
