Hey all, Ok technically I do not have an iggy, I have a Water Dragon. But after some searching on veterinary forums I have come to find out that both iggys and WDs seem to shed eye caps similary. That is they both "puff up" there eyes to knock the shed loose. Well thats about as in detail the vet article gets too so I am here to ask you what thi slooks like in detail. My WD started puffing her eyes up (so the sockets appear bigger at times) and looks like she wipes here eye with a fleshy flap that come from the join where the upper and lower eye lid meet closest to her nose. Do iggys have this puffy flap thing too? Anyhow, appreciate the 411 on it.

I have read about the bulging eye before in a shed when it comes to an iguana. I am not sure if they have a flap as much as just their entire eye socket can look puffy! www.anapsid.org/shedding.html#igOn MK's site there is a section about shedding... She mentions it in there... She does talk about other reptiles and their sheds as well I am not sure if the CWD is covered in specific but there is a lot of good reading on her site!

Thanks for the 411 Elizabeth. I actually threw it up in the Water Dragon email list serv and got info back on it right away. Sounds pretty close to what I describe. So, just wanted everyone to know so they can look at this thread instead of worry like I did
