well, i got my snake just over a month ago, and i have been nuturing it back to life. the snake is now looking healthy, and is eating at a rate of once a week (every friday) i am able to pick it up and handle it no problem but lately since my roomate got some pet rats i refuse to go and handle the snake because he can smell the rats in the appartment and is restless in trying to get out of his cage lol...
ill get some new pics but its getting back to a thicker diameter, and the skin is much cleaner on it. its finally gotten to the point that it can do a full and clean shed.
the snake is now roughly 7'6" and is mroe happy than its been in a while.

dont be scared or threatened by the snake.. tell your room mate to do something with the rats, or keep the snake in your room. lol if i were you id feed the rats to the snake.. but thats just me . but handle the snake as often as possiable, and just keep his head away from yours, untill you are comfortable with him.. if a snake eever acts like it is going to bite me, i will put my hand under his chin, and lift up on it to move his head. you will be fine though, get him away from the rats, wash your hands and make shure your cloths dont smell like rat, and pick him up
