My wife brought home a stray very young corn snake from the animal shelter ($10 adoption fee). Stray just means that someone found it where it shouldn't be - in this case, their apartment complex. I guess someone is really bummed because, due to the size, it must have been recently purchased or hatched. The shelter holds strays for a while to give the owner time to come searching for it, so they should have checked instead of assuming anything. We think it is an Anerythristic Banded Corn. It doesn't have true bands encircling the body, but I believe that is still the proper term for this morph.
