Just for the UK members if you are thinking of adopting a reptile especially iguanas please take a look at these two links www.proteus.uk.net/home.phpthe 1st link is for a variety of reptiles and they get rehomed rather quickly which is nice so they list changes often www.arkreptilegroup.com/link 2 is ark rescue and rehoming site and they normally have alot of iguanas all over the country.

Hey Loulou Nice to see the links of the UK site for Rescues But I used to have a banner flying here for Arkreptile. But a misunderstanding happened between him and me and he refused to fly a banner of mine after I thought I straighten every thing up. Matter of fact I used to visit the site often. But hey glad to see you post the links…. Thanks Patrick

oops sorry patrick *hangs head*
i would just like to say that proteus reptiles was broken into on the 30th of september and it has left alot of the english reptile keepers worried as it was the third reptile based breakin in a month this was copied and pasted from an english forum i use and the person who posted it was called Nils
Proteus Reptile Trust was broken into and burgled last night.
Most of the animals stolen have been recovered after being dumped but the following are still missing:
6 bearded dragons – one of these is very recognisable due to damage from a cat attack to the left hand side of its face. This animal was on medication before being stolen and will need treatment.
2 Mediteranian tortoises – one easily distinguishable from its lumpy shell.
1 red foot tortoise – sub adult, shell approx. 8-9 inches.
1 very weezy box turtle with respiratory infection
and 1 fully grown adult male iguana – easily identifiable from his overshot top lip. This animal is very aggressive.
None of these animals were in good health, just one reason why they were in the care of Proteus in the first place.
If you are approached or hear of any of these animals being offered please contact Proteus Reptile Trust on 0870 350 9501 or email info@proteus.uk.net
