Ok till now I have stayed away from meal worms and wax worms. I have heard the debate of meal worms being bad for my beardies but need a few opinions regarding these kinds of worms. So tell me can I feed them as treats or should I just not feed them that?

You should not feed mealworms and waxworms for these reasons: mealworms are full of chitin which makes them hard to digest which can cut the insides of the dragon and cause impaction; waxworms are very high in fat and are NOT healthy at all! People think they have to use them to fatten up their dragons, but there are many other healthy feeders that can be fed to help a dragon grow. They are just both no no's. Feeders that you should feed include: superworms(treats), hornworms(treats), silkworms, crickets, and roaches.

i agree with what steven has said but i would just like to add as a treat people do feed the mealworms, and the best time to feed them is when they are freshly shed as there is less chitin in them. the way to tell a mealworm is freshly shed is when they are very light in colour, almost white

Well excuse me for making the mistake of saying meal worms I did mean super worms. what is the difference between the two of those worms? The only difference that I could see is how big they are compared to meal worms. Why would someone stay completely away from wax worms all togeather? Why cant wax worms be given as a treat? These are the questions I need answered. I can see giving each of my dragons at least two of the wax worms with greens on the side. Is that still a bad Idea if you give them at least 2 to 4 a week?

There is a difference between supers and mealies other than size and that is that superworms are way more digestible than mealworms, mealworms are full of chitin which makes them unhealthy and hard to digest. Superworms should only be given as a treat to adults because of their size. Waxworms shouldn't be given as a treat because they are unhealthy and very very fatty, you should stay away from them all together.

FutureCROChunter, You have in the past referred me to beautifuldragons.com. I went and did some research on that site and found that they say wax worms are ok for dragons on a occasion but not as a regular food source.

When I usually refer to that site its usually for what greens, vegetables, and fruits to feed, but what I'm say is that waxworms aren't very healthy and they are fatty, some people do give them as treats and their dragons are ok, but the point I'm trying to make is that they just aren't healthy and there are other healthier feeder bugs out there. Its just my opinion that you shouldn't feed them, you just have to make that choice.

Right and I figure to give them some wax worms as treats not as a main diet. I just wanted to point it out that I have heard people say they were good. That includes www.beautifuldragons.com

Yeah, its just different people's opinions, I know a lot of people that don't feed them and I know people who do, so you just have to make that choice for yourself I guess...
