I just got back from the vet today. I was rather impressed with his knowledge about dragons. It was my first time taking them to a reptile specialist. I took Nana to a vet who wasnt very familiar with iguana's and that worried me. I heard we had a new guy in town that was a reptile specialist and decided to take them in to have a check up. He determined the sex of my dragons for me which I had already determined myself. I wanted to know if I really had the sexing part down and just wanted to know how accurate I was. I was as accurate as the vet. So here's how it went. I figured the first dragon was a female which turned out to be a male. I figured this by the fighting that was occuring between the other male. I then went and purchased a adult female who I wasnt so sure was a female at first. With the Vets help we did discover her to be a female just like I had hoped. I have ordered my Megaray bulb and havent received it yet but at that time I will go ahead and seperate my males into different tanks. I have a question for those of you who have bred dragons before. How old do dragons need to be to breed? All my dragons are around 2-3 years old. I hope I can get them to breed. This would be great. I love dragons so much. Also is two dragons in a forty breeder a good enough size enclosure? I appreciate your input. Thanks, Zach P.S. Wow Ive been promoted to senior herp how awesome is that.

Congratulations on the good vet check. It is good to hear you got a good reptile vet in town. I know when I was checking there were only 2 listed in the whole state. Congratulations on the promotion.
