My 9 year old son had a beardie. His name was Greerdid. It died lastnight. It was hard watching him cry. He loved his lizard. Best I can tell is the little fella tried to eat a black widow that somehow got into the cage. Well, it was hard again today. My son, found the shovel and dug a hole. He then found a piece of wood and made a headstone. On the wood he wrote "RIP Greerdid, The Best Lizard, I Miss You" I haven't told him about the spider because he loves spiders too. He has a pet tarantula. If the picture I took of him at the grave site turns out, I'll post it laster.

Awww... I hate it when things like this happen. And how DO these bugs get into cages? Today I came home and found a fly in my Collared lizard cage, I don't know how it got in there. Anyway. I'm very sorry for Geerdid, your son, and you. Let us know if he's okay.
