That site is for wildlife rehabilitation and squirrels are wildlife. This stuff has been used for all kinds of animals...and humans. I've used it for an iguana, Chinese water dragon and a red-eared slider. Here's some more forms: www.anapsid.org/resources/rxdose.html#calcium

took syd for his other check up today at the vet. the vet said today it didnt look much like mbd.but said cos of his brain problem it could of been a stroke or fit or something.but he says everytime i go in heres the miricle beardie,he loves him he said i didn't expect him to live this long.i said neither did i.but he has and he has recently had another shed well part of one and has actually gained 2 more inches in length.he said he seems to forget how to feed sometimes dosent he.i said yes sometimes thats where the baby foods good as a back up.he looked at his eyes and said one is very small and looks to be of not much use to him and the other seems fine so fingers crossed he can now atleast see abit out of one eye.

yeah i know.hopefully love wins but only time will tell.alot of people at work and things think its abit mad cos hes so small to inject if needed or anything.the vet said yes he's tiny but if we needed to we could inject him.but at the moment he dosent need any more injections.i said don't know what you think so just wondered it not unfair keeping him is it.he said no,he said also the stroke or whatever sydney had,may of also been a trapped nerve in his back like gizmos.not that he has a broken back even though when he was really ill i thought so.because he was bent in half attacking back legs and tail.but i said metacam that gizmos on wouldnt help ever would it he said not unless sydney grows alot more cos he have to have approxmitly 20th of a drop cos he so tiny.but he said hopefully whatever it is wont happen again.i said i hope not.cos i knew at the time he was going or i thought i did.and yes hope love wins with him and im never giving up on him i will only take him to vets for p2s if he is in lots of pain or he couldnt eat on his own or with help.and as long as hes climbing and walking about he's fine.even though sometimes he forgets he has back legs and drags them now thats why i agree with possible stroke.and most of the time he uses them properly, even though they eventually splay out and make him fall over.i done a few more vids of him and pics.so i'll upload them soon.

It's good to hear Syd is doing so much better. It sounds like he had the right meds and TLC. Pictures would be great...:-)
We can't even get anyone outside right now. I've been keeping frozen milk jug containers of water in the raccoon cage and the dog kennels to try and keep everyone cool. It's still 95F degrees at 10:00 p.m. here...we wake up to it being 85F. We've broken records in heat waves and the drought carries on. 106F yesterday. It's not fit even for an ig.
Glad you can get Syd outside. It does SO much good!
