Here are my igs! Personal pets: Oggie and Paquita Fosters: Gizmo, Iggy, Reno, and Noelani Oggie Paquita at an education event (sitting on my boyfriend's head). Gizmo - She was a carnival prize surrendered into our care. Iggy - She was also a carnival prize surrendered into our care. Reno - She was found running loose outside. We were told she was seen outside for several months. We were unable to find the owner. Noelani - He had a severe face injury when he was given to us (missing right lip and nostril) and a major infection. He was going to be released to the wild by previous owner. We have had all of our fosters since 2004. Two were adopted but later given back to us by adoptive parent (could no longer provide care); they were Gizmo and Noelani. We have had one successful adoption (ig not shown here).

Mindy They look like they all are doing great. Can't see Noelini for some reason. Sorry for the unsuccessful adoptions. I guess it is really hard to find forever homes. Glad you had at least one success. Hope you can eventually find homes for all of them. Stephanie's Kookie was going to be released into the Canadian winter if she didn't take him. It so sad, they have to suffer for human whims and errors in judgement. Do you have to always keep them seperate or do they interact well? I can't let Huff be with Baby & Dragon at all. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marie, I fixed the Noelani link (I think). They cannot be near each other at all. They are all super territorial. They all have separate cages but some are in the same room together, unfortunately. Reno is probably the most chilled out one of the bunch as far as not freaking out when another ig comes near her cage. If I bring Gizmo past Iggy's cage for bath (poop) time, and don't walk fast enough, they will both bob heads at each other and Iggy will charge at us while inside the cage! That is pretty much how the rest of the girls will act too. Even if one is loose in living room for instance and I bring another ig past, they have that "look" on their face. They are all freaked out by Noelani, I suppose because he is bright orange now and they know he's a male in season! They do seem fine with other people's igs, if outside at an education event - I suppose because it is neutral territory.

Noelani is a bright orange. He is good looking in spite of his face.
Sounds like it is the neutral territory. I had Baby & Dragon out in the front yard while Patrick & Denise had their 4 in the enclosure in the back yard. We decided to see how they would do together. I & Denise stayed with them inside but there was no problems with aggression or behavior. Patrick & Denise's Quazi & Miss Jr chase each other in the house but are fine together outside. When Huff was in the cat cage in the girls' enclosure he and Dragon would bob each other all the time. Huff aggravated Dragon so much that she would climb on his cage and poop on his head. I finally convinced her to stop but they would still continually bob at each other. As long as he was in the cage Baby just ignored him. But she had a shelf she could get to where she was higher than him.

Very nice pictures. I don't know if we could handle a male. We wanted to wait for a female, and we lucked out when Chica stumbled into our path.

I definitely prefer the girls. When we first adopted Paquita we were not sure if she was male or female, but I am glad she turned out to be a girl. Our male foster, Noelani, is a sweetie, but I think we are lucky that he is not aggressive like some males can be during their season. He will however, try to mate with anything and everything, even if it means your arm while he is sitting on you.

WOW mindy those guys are all looking great! They all take beautiful pictures too! You are lucky that they get along though. My two don't not get along either. They stay away from each other.
