What a cutie!! It's got a nasty burn on it's side though and it looks pretty fresh. Is the heat source out of the way now? Ditch the bark. This stuff is notorious for fatal impaction. The best to go with is newspaper...easy cleanup, but astroturf looks nicer. Just keep to for swapping when cleaning and cut all loose strings.

Hey there Welcome to the forum and that is a very cute little one you have there. Deffinatly keep an eye on that burn mark. And deffinatly get rid of that bark. THey tend to eat everything and it can kill them if it gets caught in there digestive tract. Also what is in that food bowl? I see collard greens some repcal and that other stuff looks like rabbit pellets? Just curious

Ooops...just noticed where you said you removed the bark already...;-)
If that is rabbit pellets...it should be ground up and sprinkled into a moistened salad and not whole. Let us know what else you have in there. We can help you find some terrific stuff...;-D

Hello Allie and welcome (o: Glad to see you posted pitcuters. She's sooo cute. I love the pic of her on the bottles. That's my kind of iggy, protecting the important stuff hehe j/k. Looking at the picture with the food, you need to cut her collards a little smaller. The ideal size is about half the size of their head or smaller. It's easier for them to eat in small bits. We usually put our iguanas greens and other veggies in a chopper. It mixes the foods as well as cutting them up so the iguana isn't able to be picky. Ours is a very picky eater and will ignore the greens to get to the special stuff he likes. A little note though, if you decide to use acorn squash, or another hard vegetable like that, grating it works better than putting it in a mixer. Anyway, I hope this helps, and she is gorgeous!

I LOVE my food processor!!!! I don't use it to mix everything thing together. It all gets chopped or grated individually, but then gets mixed into a tossed salad. When I have beardies I DO add the tossed salad into it and zap into smaller pieces. The beardies love it. I'm beardie-sitting for the next week...so I get to do this again for the spoiled little monsters... ;D. One is one I adopted out last year...and she got a second one. Both are wonderful!
