I currently own 4 tarantulas. I have a Brazilian Black, Mexican Redrump, Chaco Golden Knee and a Mexican Flame Knee. I have had all of them since they were spiderlings. The golden knee and flame knee are getting quite big now. The other two still have a ways to go. Grammostola Pulchra (Brazilian Black) Brachypelma Vagans (Mexican Redrump) Grammostola Aureostriata (Chaco Golden Knee) Brachypelma Auratum (Mexican Flame Knee)

I love the flame knee! Very striking! I have a curly-hair myself. She's 20 yrs. old this year. I expect her to just fold in on herself any day now...but she still eats good.

My wife originally had a male curly hair. She had purchased it full grown to make sure she could get accustomed to spiders. He only lived a year before he died. He had his last molt before we got him. Once she knew she wouldn't be afraid of the spiders we ordered the 4 we have now

We have gotten most of our T's from Scott's Tarantula online. You can check out his site scottstarantulas.com/ The pink toes are beautiful. I had one a while back before I was with my wife hehe. Unfortunately I lost my pictures. On a side note my Brazilian Black finally molted a couple days ago. He is now looking like the Tarantula I wanted. In my first post you can see where he was still looking like that yucky brown color. Here is my Grammostola Pulchra finnally looking black haha.

I just noticed that Scott doesn't sell live Tarantulas anymore He had always done right by us. When we ordered a couple of our spiders he had given us the other 2 for free. I have my babies already now anyways but it's too bad he no longer sells. I am in the market for a good scorpion though. The wife isn't so sure about that one haha. I really like the Imperator (sp?) ones. The ones that are big, fat and all black.

Ooo...he is much blacker! My sister had the emperor scorp and loved it. She was easily handled even though she was a bit intimidating. Great beginner scorp. Too bad about the T supplier. The one I mentioned has a terminal illness and is spending more time with family these days and not so much into the Ts...though he still sells them.

I have to agree with Prism with the FLAME KNEE! She/HE is A BEAUTY!! Very good looking one you got there, the others are very nice specamins also! Your little black guy, looks amazing since he molted also! My brother used to have T's and I loved them, but my mom really didn't like them. He had a chillian rose and a black irridescent? I think thats the names they go by. He knew the scientific names but I can't remember those! lol He also had emp scorps. They are great beginner scrops also. I can remember the black one he had was just a tiny guy when he got him and MAN could he run!! sooo fast for such a little guy. I'm not exactly sure how they all died though. He went to work and I was at work, our mom was home and sometimes she got a little crazy with the bug spray. And I think she "accidently" sprayed it in his room. I'm not 100% sure on that though and I don't think he is either. But they all died suddenly all at the same time. Very beautiful little ones you have there, I'm sure they will be even more stunning when they are full grown. Thanks for posting and hope to see more photos

I updated the original post with the correct scientific names of each of the T's for each posted pic. I had incorrectly labeled my Mexican Redrump as a Red Hump. Don't know what I was thinking hehe.
