I got a timer power strip for the UVB light to turn on at 7am and off at 7pm. The strip works fine for the humifidier thats on 24/7 but the timer part of it doesnt work. It doesnt turn on or off even though the timer is set properly according to the directions. =/ Any ideas?

I set the accurate time of day. Yes its got a yellow for day, blue for night, and white for 24/7. The light is plugged into the first yellow outlet and it says that its set correctly. =/ Would the power strip work for non reptile lamps? I have my UVB bulbs in a 4ft workshop lamp.

it should work with anything you plug in all the timer does is cut power to that plug.. i have one of thoes ovel shaped timers that only fits one plug LOL... there might be something wrong with the timing part of the strip if you just recently baught it you could take it back and get anew one ... god luck on the light
