HOLY CRAP BOB!! That looks like it hurt!! Hey...they next time she gets hit tell her I don't mind a little blood...and it really gets the point across to newbies who think - even though BPs are one of the mildest snakes as far as behavior goes - does not mean they can't inflict serious injury.
I hope she's feeling better by now...

Thats some nice swelling she has going on there. Yes I would have to agree show the TRUE nature of the bites right after they occur. Not after they are cleaned away. I have also been struck at by one of the Bp's we've had in the past. Was right for my face though. Glad I pulled away right when I saw her thingy her head. I knew that look.
The best thing to do is if your are bitten by a snake, is NEVER To pull away. When you pull away you inflict more damage than what it would have been if you just let them bite and let go. Just some info for people who didn't know this.
Michelle, Hope your swelling went down and your hand looks better by now. You were lucky it was such a small event. Could have been MUCH worse.
