She was doing fine yesterday. I have her in a 10 gallon, with soil substrate. She has been doing fine in it.
Yesterday I moved her to a 5 gallon, so I could put our Pacman and 3 American frogs in the 10 gallon. Well that didn't work at all cause the Pacman tried to eat the toads. Luckly we got them out fast enough and everyone was fine. So for now I moved the pacman to a 5 gallon and the toads to a 5 gallon. I put the tarantula back into the 10 gallon. She looked fine last night but today she has her legs curled up under her and she looks like she is dying.
Is there anything I can do to save her? Was this my fault for moving her? She wasn't in the 5 gallon for more one hour.

Update: I removed her from her 10 gallon aquarium and put her in a clear plastic container with high sides. I put her under my iguana's heat lamp, and I have misted her with some water to keep up humidity. Her legs are no longer curled under and she is more responsive. She looks a lot better. I'm going to keep her in the container over night and see how she is in the morning.

Another update: She is a lot more responsive and is moving around a bit. The strange thing now is that she is acting clumsy like she can't move all of her legs right. I am not sure what is going on with her. If anyone knows anything about Rose Hair Tarantula's maybe you can advise me as to what to do. Thanks

Has your rosea molted recently by any chance?

I have to agree with the molting question.... Has she molted lately or is she due for a molt? How long have you had her? What did you clean the tanks with before you switched each to different ones and back again? Spiders are very sensitive to a lot of harmful chemicals, so you have to take caution when cleaning anything around them. Hope she is doing ok still, let us know

She is doing better. I've put her in a 5 gallon tank and I have been keeping her warm and been misting her. I've had her since April, she has not molted for me yet. I will put up pics of her. I clean the tank with regular dish soap and rinsed it very good before drying it and putting her in it. Her legs are more stable and she is starting to act normal again, but she still looks a little lethargic, well, more than normal. I've seen her sit in one spot of about a day without moving, I know that Tarantula's don't move around a lot.

Well, I'm happy to say that my Tarantula is healthy again!!! She is eating normally, just ate two crickets yesterday, and she has become active again. Well, as active as a Tarantula can get. Thanks guys!

It sounds like she was dehydrated.
