Hi Lisa and Iggy Around how old is your iguana? It is hard to 100% sex them until they reach breeding seasons. This usually happens around 1 year for some and up to 3 years for others. My male had very large pores when he was 1.5 and my friends male is 5 months older than mine but hardly has any pores. So it is very hard to tell! I think there is a sticky when you first go into the iguana board on this site that says FEMORAL PORES.... Those are the pores you use for identification. As of right now it could be male as some of the prores look of an ok size. The others are very small which would indicate female. No one can say 100% until he/she gets a bit older. There have been many many many times when someone said "my male" iguana and after a year or so there "male" iguana becomes a "female" iguana. Egg laying can't be confused! lol but keep us updated on him/her though. Very cute ig... around a year or so? I'm not an expert with age but the face looks like a young face. hope to hear back soon!
