Just curious but, is it safe to have that heat bulb exposed and within reach like that?

Hey there, Just a few things.... That heat lamp deffinatly shouldn't be anywhere where she can reach it. Iguana's can't tell if they are getting burnt by something and often it causes severe damage to the animal. With costly vet bills and suffering to the animal. Secondly the fake plants, they can cause a lot of problems if your baby girl decides to eat them. Iguana's will eat anything. Even if it isn't good for them or if they arn't supposed to eat it. These can cause bowel blockages and require surgery to fix. She will love her enclose just as much with no plants. My guy and girls have no fake leaves or anything like that. My boy does have some drift wood that has been baked in the oven to kill any mites or things I don't want harming him on it. Thirdly that string you have in there should also be removed. Not good if she eats it or gets tangled up in it. And lastly the metal grating you have in there has some sharp edges on it. It could be good to sand the points off them so she doesn't cut herself. Other than those things! You did a great job! Make sure that you have some room for air flow in and out of the enclosure though. Fresh air is really important to them as well. Its good to see you chose cleanable flooring instead of indoor/outdoor carpet. Good choice. And your lizard looks good Happy as well. Keep us informed and if you have any other questions let us know!
