Hey all I just had some news today. My friends step mom died in a trailer fire in BC last month. I just wanted to remind you how important fire alarms are even if it is a trailer or your camping. IT is really important. She burned to death alone in the trailer. There was no smoke alarm as they had the trailer packed up because they just bought a house and were moving in the next weekend. They thought they'd be fine with no alarms or antyhing for a few days. Her husband came home from work to see the trailer on fire and hear her screaming from inside. He tried to save her but the fire was just too large and to hot. So even if its just a camping trip or your living in one, trailers are very flamable. It was cauzed by faulty wireing but her death probably could have been avoided by proper smoke alarms. Stay safe everyone and make sure you check those things once an awhile. They are important lifesavers! Her family is coping with the death very well at this point. That was great to hear from her though. So be safe everyone!
