I'm sure this is common sense, but sometimes we just need to be tailwhipped in the head to remind us Just picked up our Christmas tree recently. Of course, that area is a no-lizard zone. The tree needles, if ingested, will cause impaction. However, over the next month, it's best to constantly sweep and vacumn, because your foot apparel can unbeknowst to you, carry the needles to another part of your home that may be designated lizard-safe. Also, poinsettias are toxic!!!! Even tho the plant may be out of reach, remember to pick up shed petals and leaves quickly before your free-roamers discover them. Just a thought! des (*mmmmmm! love the smell of a fresh crimmy tree!*) des@ircf.org www.ircf.orgdesircf.blogspot.comBe a part of the solution; join IRCF!

Good advice Desiree...Thanks for sharing! Also I have heard that the lights bother iguanas . Is that true? So maybe it's best to have steady lights on instead of blinking??

We have had blinking and non-blinking lights in the past. des des@ircf.org www.ircf.orgdesircf.blogspot.comBe a part of the solution; join IRCF!

I'll have to see how my guys react to the whole christmas thing. It will be one year in January since I rescued RZ and I rescued KooKie in May so I haven't been lucky enough to have mine during a christmas yet. But this year will be the first
