Just wanted to tell people about what I saw on Ripleys believe it or not. They had a guy on there show who owned around 40 iguana's. He said he just let them run around the house and he didnt have any cage for them. I find that a little hard to believe considiring they need special attention. I thought it was cool but I was just wondering about how many he may of had die on him because of malnutrition. I just couldnt imagine taking care of 40 iguana's. That is a full time job. Well just wanted to share this with you all. Zach

I think I saw that guy before if its the same one, he had a big room just for them. He was like on the animal channel when I saw him. I thought they had their own room with shelving. When I was watching it was showed them having bath time. he open their bedroom door and turn on the shower and they would all just come and take a shower. He had so many different colored igs it was cool to see, but I don't remember seeing any type of setup stuff like UV lights and anything to keep them warm. It does make you wonder what the real story is.

Territorial you know I just went though a case with my 2 female one thinks she owns the living room and cased the other female out of the living room!!!!

Well after researching the Ripley's site I believe the man they are talking about is refered to as "The Iguana Man" who yes not only lives with his iguanas but poses them and takes pictures of them... This being Henry Lizardlover... I am sure many iggy owners have heard of him but if not here is the link to his website... www.todaysplanet.com/pg/beta/lizardlover/index.htmNow I cannot say anything about how he cares for his iguanas but on his site he talks about a book he wrote IGUANA OWNER'S MANUAL (1992) by Henry Lizardlover The pictures he has taken of his iguanas are quite interesting as I know I would never have gotten mine to sit that way even bribing them with wheat bread!

The little ones aren't iguanas... They're Chinese Water dragons... I'm almost positive of it, hard to tell though, bad picture for seeing what they are. And where are the pictures of his house?

Henry's an interesting person. I see him about once a year when he's down in my neck of the beach area at the Hometown Fair. To this day, I still dont know how the CWDs just sit there, and I have seen him position the lizards.

YEs I have also saw these photos and they are great works of art. Kinda makes you wonder if he drugs these animals or something. NOT saying that he does. Just that 90% of all animals wouldn't just sit there like that, maybe he was just lucky enough to find that 10%. Would be something neat to learn though. Great photo's though. And I agree also CWD but some on the site you can obviously tell are iggys.
