I've switched to ceiling heat panels. And my lights are boxed. I guess I should check my batteries though. That probably saved the humans. Thanks for posting.

Pro Products is who makes the Pro Heat Radiant Heat Panels. www.pro-products.com/proheat.html They are pricey though at $300 (shipping included). But they can last up to 30 years and are warranteed up to 10 years ($30/yr). Placed towards one end gives the correct heating zones. You call them first. They will want to know the materials the enclosure is made of, the size of the enclosure (dimensions), and the ambient temperatures outside the enclosure. They then will tell you what size you need and tell you how to order it. The ones I use are 260 watts/hour when on. They are not on all the time though. I use a thermostat on it. Most likely a CHE will work but the surface of the heat panel is not scorching hot like a CHE. Also it plugs into an outlet directly (no socket) and mounts to the ceiling making it impossible for the iguana to get on it.
