The 7th Annual Maine Herp Society Reptile Show, Portland, Maine is history.
It was a good show and it's growing every year. About 20 - 25 vendors were there with a selection of snakes and reptile, along with a lot of supplies.
Here's the photo's, enjoy.
This vendor had 2 Peruvian Columbian boas, both were huge.
This is the other one. Her head was as big as a basketball and had a nasty temperament.
This was Amanda's and our table at the show. We both were vendors there and sold a few cages and snakes. We had a lot of fun chatting and talking up The Lizard Corral Forum.
I'm in the background with the yellow shirt and a Ball Python around my neck. Michelle is in front of me with the black shirt on and Amanda is on the right of me selling her excellent rat and mouse breeder cages. The couple to the left bought the only Columbian Red Tail Boa I had on the table. I forgot to tell the lady that the boa loves to wrap around scrunchies and stay there......OOOPS!
My older son who took these photo's took this picture of his most favorite vendor. The coffee and doughnut table.
RED EARED SLIDERS - One is an albino
Every vendor I think was selling Ball Pythons.
There were a lot of Corn Snakes and Kingsnakes to be had, at all price ranges.
This was the real early part of the show just as the doors opened.
Even though there were a lot of snakes you could still find Lizards, Amphibians....and
Yep you guessed it, more snakes.......
and more Ball Pythons
There were also a few vendors selling supplies
So the show was a good success for the Herp Society and by early afternoon the place really got crowded and a little steamy. I'm sure glad they didn't shut that air conditioner off.
Got to meet some more MHS members that I haven't met before, even talked to Mike Tremblay for awhile....Psssst! Mike thanks for the offer I'm still thinking about it.
You know I just got to get an MHS shirt & hat.
Hope you enjoyed the photos and to all the MHS I met there....a big Hello again. I enjoyed talking to you all.
