Just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Kelly, I'm engaged to Korey (isis). I love animals, any shape. I'm in love with Isis, she's meh baby. I'm super short, and I live in Indiana. I have a brown anole, and he is a complete butthole. I still love him, though. He likes to show his love with a big bite, while I'm trying to keep him alive. I am a photographer, and I am looking around for a cheap apprenticeship to become a piercing artist. I love music, piercings, weird crap, and tattoos, yum. I am also a freelance hair stylist, and I writer. Here are some pictures, not very recent, not very good. But, it will give your mind something to relate me with, if you ever decide to talk to me. ;P Korey and I. I hope you guys welcome me! Good luck with your animals!

Haha, babe, you're crazy. I help you do everything. Who wakes you up in the morning? Who gets your food? Who feeds your fish, and takes out the dog? I love you.

Of course you're welcome Kelly!! You have a lot as things to aspire to! I hope they all come to you... ;D. You have an anole, huh? They are cute. We had one, here, too. My mother bought for my 13 yr. old daughter and they didn't have a CLUE it needs as much as an iguana did...so this little $7 anole ended up costing $100 after getting all the UVB and heat lights for it...and then we had no place that sold the right sized crickets. The poor thing had to eat bait crix that were way to big for it. Well...welcome aboard Kelly...

Hey there and Welcome Kelly u guys are very cute together! You also have a lot of things that you are doing and want to do. Reminds me of me. LOL I am a tattooist and a body piercer its an interesting job/hobby. Some people ask for some pretty interesting things. LOL But you guys seem to be doing a great job with Isis and keep up the good work! I don't have much experience with anoles as they are not my style of lizard. I like Chameleons for the most part but since I've been introduced to iguana's I think they are one of the greatist lizards I've gotten to know. You will have much reward with Isis if you raise her with a lot of love and affection but just enough disipline as she grows up. Keep up the good work. Welcome to the site and feel free to add me on your msn or yahoo. Welcome again

Hey! Thank you, and thank you again! I like to keep myself busy, and I love to learn new things. It keeps my life, well, interesting. It is really hard to find a good apprenticeship right now. Everyone in Indiana is under qualified. . and I'd like to be taught by someone who is serious about what they do. I wish you lived close to me! I actually had to give up my Anole today, due to the fact that I didn't have enough money to buy the adequate lighting. I felt horrible, but I didn't want him to be treated without the proper care. However, I had to give him to a store that I know doesn't really care much about their reptile selection, which broke my heart. Their iguanas are clearly emaciated and dehydrated. It’s really sad, but I had no choice. So, once they put him in with the rest of the Anoles, I stayed for awhile, and watched how he was acclimating to his new home. He started doing, what I like to call, his “domination dance.” He flares his dewlap, and kind of bounces around, stiffly. My anole was clearly much larger than the others, so I’m sure he’s doing fine, however, another Anole was picking a fight, and I couldn’t help but root my lizard on to whoop some. J I am going to buy a pinkie, since I fell in love with one the other day, and try to raise it. It’s going to be really hard, but I like the challenge. Wish me luck! Anyway, sorry for the long story, thanks again!

Hey there, Sorry you had to give him up. I hope he does well. And by pinky do you mean a pinky mouse? Or something else? Yes a lot of people are underqualified, But since I am a good artist I took my art in to a shop and he said no. Then he looked at my work when he had more time and I could start anytime. The apprentiship sucks. You learn what you need to but you don't get paid to do it. So its all your own money being used to drive to work, watch, eat and all that. You pay for the whole thing. Then buying your own supplies costs a lot also. Well welcome and we'll talk to you soon

I'm sorry to hear you had to give up your Anole. I know how hard it can be to give up a pet you love.
I have a friend here who apprenticed up in NY. He does wonderful work. He is the only body artist I will go to and have work done. And yes, some people do ask for some very weird things. I've seen some tattoo work that made me cringe and heard of piercings that had me, a woman, crossing my legs lol. Anyway, good luck with the apprenticeship. I hope you find what you're looking for in a teacher (o: And post pictures of your pinky when you get it.
