Hey all!
I forgot to post about our trip to see Elizabeth and her family on the Weekend! I'm such a nerd I thought I typed it up but I didn't!
We left Canada at around 8:30 am and were off to Elizabeths in Michigan. We got a little lost as there is tones of construction there, but we saw more construction on weekends than we did on weekdays, which I found odd.
So we got there and we brought my dog Brutis along and her kids were happy to see and play with Brutis.
We were off to the Detroit Zoo on Saturday and it was great. I will post some pics at the end of this writing. After the zoo we went to her house and hung out and played in the water with her kids! Andrew my bf can't resist spraying everyone with the hose!
Sunday was great it was very hot out! I have never spent more time indoors than I have at her house, AC is nice when someone else has it! I got to play around with Elizabeths Uro's and they are such cuties! They act all silly and run around. Her frog is pretty plain but how much excitement can a frog have right? Athena her King snake is such a cutie, she was pretty active when we were there. She was also animal sitting a ball python which was a beautiful snake and made me miss mine! And a Leopard frog, which I see and hear lots of thsoe out here in Canada.
Sunday night at around 7 or so Patrick and Denise's son Josh showed up. They were up there setting up an Enclosure that Patrick made for some lady. I'm sure they did a good job. So we all had a BBQ and ate way too much food! Well I did anyway!
Brutis, Elizabeth and I went for a walk on Sunday night and got to know some of her neighbours. Which some of them are great people. Brutis was a very much center of attention to everyone. They thought he was so beautiful. He is a white Great Dane just incease you guys didn't know
We stayed out pretty late and my BF Andrew was pretty good at babysitting! He was asleep when we got back! But the kids were asleep before we left anyway.
So since we were there late we stayed another night. So on Monday we were on our way home after buggin Elizabeth on her school day!
I'd have to say that it was another fun weekend meeting with people and doing different things.
