Well people, I apologize for not being here. Not much herp-wise has been going on, and when I came here (which wasn't that widespread between checks) I never found anywhere to post. And I didn't remember to save the password on my new computer so when I went it didn't log me in. I have been having trouble with the computer and how often I used it, because it's rather slow. I also haven't been home a lot in the past few months. Enough excuses. Life's alright, there is some serious family problems right now, but I'm doing alright through that. I just got back to school from spring break. I am however having trouble with Geico, one of my male Golden geckos. I cleaned out his cage the other day, and found ever superworm I had given since I last cleaned his cage under his plant. So he has not been eating, and I don't know what to do, because he's not a lizard that would be able to handle going to the vet. He's pretty old and VERY jumpy. If anyone's got any ideas, I've tried babyfood, crickets, gecko bites by Naturezone, Super worms, Meal worms, and nothing worked, so ideas would be greatly appreciated. Everyone else is alright (reptile-wise). I'm still trying to get a bigger cage for the Spotteds, but I have to find a place to put it. I also might be getting a duck when I can. I love ducks. Well, thank you all, sorry I haven't been around. -collin

Being older he may not be able to tolerat the superworm. Try a regular meal worm.
Another alternative could be silk worms or even thingyroach's. If you get thingyroach's make sure you get the ones that don't climb, otherwise you could have a problem.

Collin,
It is good to see that you are still around. LOL. Sorry about your family and computer problems. Hope everything works out. I also hope your gecko gets better soon.
I had a mallard duck once. It fell out of the sky one day into our back yard with a beakfull of mud. Dad cleaned him up and we named him Pete. But Pete kept walking through the wet cement that Dad was laying. So he ended up being let go in Balboa Park. He was a cool duck. What kind of duck are you wanting?

I'll have to try that. The thing with crickets is he doesn't like to chase things, so I don't know that thingyroaches would work. I'll try if I can get some. Do they sell Silk worms at pet stores? Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Heh, that's funny, I'd have left the duck prints there, a little artistic touch right from the wild. And it's free. I want just a regular 'ole white duck. I don't know if it's going to happen, but I want it to. Thanks Patrick. -collin
