I'm from the Eastern Time Zone! 
SO on that map it would be 2pm here. This map is to help people in other time zones differentiate which time zone they are in compared to EASTERN STANDARD which is the zone this board runs on.
So 9pm Eastern time would be 11am in California. Our chat times are different all over the world, but we needed to center them to where most of our users hailed.
