Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes I bought some raffle tickets....it's a great idea BTW I used to take pics constantly but I find myself at a loss for time when it comes to stuff like that because I have two girls that also eat up alot of time as well. Anyone here with children will know what I'm talking about. But I'll work on some new pics soon. My rhino is 2 years old and in terms of cyclura iguanas that's very young. She's still rather small at 2 feet, but her horns are starting to come out a little--she resembles a little dinosaur. The cayman rock iguana is just starting to turn blue...and is also two years and about 2 feet in length. They free roam in the herproom which is pretty large....they have their own little territories and there seem to be some stringent invisable lines drawn in the sand. Very interesting to watch. They only react that way to eachother, even thought he come in contact with tegus and wd's everyday. All the other animals are ignored. Two cyclura from two different parts of the world recognize eachother in some way! Well--I have to go eat right now. Again thanks for the warm welcome!

Where it says your total messages up in the top most banner you can click that and go in there... Or at the very most bottom of the page under the "newest member" on the bottom right there is a place where you can click on messages there as well...

Hey Nicole, I'm glad to hear your iggys and others are so well taken care of and that they are allowed to free roam. Mine are not, which I guess is a downfall to me. They all come out everyday for there special time with me and visiting with anyone that is here. RZ my big girl loves to be held and walked around outside. RZ has MBD and can't use her back legs maybe only about 5% she can. So I help her out and my brother and I are constructing a wheel chair for her to make it easier for her to get around. That is cool that your rhino is starting to get a horn and that your blue is starting to turn blue. I would deffinatly love to see pictures of that! To see new messages all you do it click on the topic that you want to see and then you should be able to see what new messages are in each topic. Hope you figure it out!

What bulbs are you using for your iggy with MBD? I'm a huge advocate of Macbulbs --especially for iguanas and bearded dragons. Have you tried some iguana dust? Mine really seem to like the taste of it for whatever reason. I was looking for the old : messages since your last log in button...thought I was going crazy because I couldn't see it. For a long time the rhino was queen of the room. Anytime I let John (the blue) out---he would hide and she would just terrorize him. So up until about a month and a half ago, he stayed in a cage for his own well being. He let me know when it was time to be free by continually breaking out of his cage. Now his cage stays open. He goes in to bask and to eat...but other then that he likes to sit on top of it and watch. He also knows I come in with treats for him so he is very attentive when the door opens and I walk in. They are so smart! He knows the Rhino's name (Tallulah)---and if I call her he comes to try and snatch the treat before she hears me They are very competitive. They will end up the same size because blues are smaller the rhinos but males are larger then females---so basically it should balance out. Right now she is beefier. She used to sit on my head as a hatchling....and if I pick her up she immediately tries to run up my arm onto my head---and I end with with scratches all over my face, ears and arms LOL. I keep her claws sharp so she can climb her tree...even though cyclura are not really arboreal. No one ever told her that I guess It's nice to have a place to discuss them---most of the forums I frequent have alot of snake and beardy owners.

Hey there,
I use the repti sun 8.0's for all my animals. It is great on my chameleons and RZ is really benefiting from it as it is only 10 inches away of where she is. She will be spending a lot of time outside when the weather is nicer out. That will help her MBD a lot.
As no one carry's any of the bulbs that you guys can get in the states. I'm sure I can order them but I cannot afford them right now. I was hoping to win one on the last raffle, but it went to a good home too!
