In photobucket you just have to hit the edit button that is on top of your picture...
In there you can edit a number of things but we want to look at the "resize picture"
You can select from 3 sizes to resize your picture to..
75% 50% and 25%
**Remember once you resize there is no going back so if in doubt do the smallest change first till you get it to the size you want it...
**When selecting a size to use (75%/50%/25%) remember that the larger the number the smaller the change i.e. using 25% will make it reduce to a much smaller size than 50%
then just hit the resize button and you are all done...
If you have posted a picture the link will still work just refresh the page it is on and it will show you the image in the new size in your post...

Here is an easier way for Windows XP users. Download the free program from Microsoft from this site: download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exeIt will install itself into Windows XP, so that any where in Windows XP, you can right click a picture file, and a menu option of "Resize picture" comes up. I recommend 640X480, as that fits most everyone's screen. It's great for emailing, too, or making atavars of a certain size.
