Well, two years ago today I posted that Kismet had laid her first clutch of eggs. Earlier this summer I thought she was gravid, then changed my mind. Shows what I know. I put her outside after our morning cuddle around 8:00 and went out a couple of hours later to feed her only to find five eggs on the concrete and one in the water dish! I went into the enclosure and held her for a while and she laid a 7th in my lap! She was not interested in using the nest, only in laying on her favorite ledge and dropping eggs on to the ground.
She seems fine, albeit exhausted and I'm not freaking out so much as I did last time. I'm hoping to get her to the vet for an x-ray tomorrow, but Mike is out of town so I don't have a ride. I will call first thing in the morning though and see what the vet says. Please say a prayer that she's passed all of her eggs!
Susan

Well, Kismet went to the vet today. She passed all of her eggs and is in good health. She's basking in her outside enclosure right now, recovering nicely.

Hey Susan & Kismet!
Long time no hear! Well that is great that Kismet layed her eggs and the vet only had good news for you about it. Sometimes I guess it takes a few years for them to get the hang of where to put those eggs. Maybe that is why they arn't as common as green igs.
I'm glad it sounds like you guys have been doing ok since we heard from you last. Hope to hear more from you. Good job Kismet and hope you make a speedy recovery munching away on good food!

Good point. I hadn't thought of that.
So far Kismet is doing well. We just had couch time and she is in bed for the night.
