Hey everyone!
A friend of mine is interested in purchasing a couple of Pygmy Chameleons. We searched all over the net and can't seem to find any breeders.
Would anyone here know where we can get a few of them or even better a few sites to take a look at?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Madlen

That is awsome, well make sure your friend does all the necessary reading. Meow mix actually has pygmy chams and maybe knows a few breeders. You could PM him to see what he says. I will try and get a hold of him in the mean time

In the top care sheet, it says housing a pygmy chameleon in an aquarium is preferable, is that true? As males do not like to see their reflections, my only guess is that pygmy's are not so aggressive against other males? I am contemplating buying 1 or 2 Kenyan Pygmy Chameleons, and want to know if it is actually alright to house them in an aquarium. Thanks in advance

I housed my chameleons in an aquarium when they were smaller. I have african veildes and they dislike there reflections also. But chameleons can't seem to grasp the concept of what glass is. They sill sometimes paw at it for hours even though they know they won't get trough it. Because of that reason I changed to screen enclosures. As long as you keep them warm and Draft free they will do great in a screen enclosure.
Good luck and if you have any more questions feel free to ask

I was wondering if anyone might be able to inform me of a pygmy chameleon breeder in the Sacramento area in California.
